My Passion for Music Photography

With over 40 years of experience in the music industry, I bring a unique dual perspective as both a creative and an insider. My background includes founding and running record labels, co-owning one of the top music recording studios, and designing hundreds of album covers for a wide range of artists and genres.


I'm also a partner at SO.CO, a dedicated image platform for music photography, co-founded with industry peers—veterans from Getty Images, iStockphoto, and respected media outlets like Rolling Stone, Billboard, SPIN, and NME. Together, we share a passion for capturing the spirit of live music through powerful imagery.


My work as a photographer is deeply rooted in my lifelong love of music. I’ve had the privilege of photographing artists both on stage and behind the scenes—either directly for the bands or for SO.CO’s global network of clients. This connection gives me access, credibility, and an eye for moments that truly matter.
